Secure Check is a state of the art system used
by Patrolling Guards, Police and Deputies to make the
documentation portion of the patrol easier. Secure Check
combines the power of software with the ease of use
of a Personal Data Terminal to time and date stamp each
checked door or area.
While making his rounds, the security guard
carries a hand-held Portable Data Terminal (Palm or
CE) with a built in Barcode or RFID Scanner. Each area
is scanned and the Condition (Locked/Unlocked, Occupied,
etc) is entered by pressing the selection on the screen.
The program will automatically time stamp each door
checked thus providing time lines for productivity reports,
audit reports, verifications, etc., resulting in a more
secure and well-guarded site.
• Uses standard barcodes - no need for speciality
barcodes or tags and most offices are barcoded.
• Documentation of areas being checked - Because
the scanner time stamps everything and shows whether
the barcode was scanned or entered, reports can be produced
showing when the area was checked and by whom.
• Better accountability - Reports can be produced
detailing what areas are left unlocked or by time seeing
the productivity of the officer/guard.
• Less paperwork - Because all of the information
is maintained in either the scanner or MasterTrak Plus
software, no forms are needed and reports can be generated
in minutes.
