We have selected the Zebra LP2742 Direct Thermal Printer as the recommended printer for creating file request slips.

• Requests are printed on 3.5" x 5" paper.
• The status (In/Out) of the file is printed on the request slip along with the name of the personmaking the request and the file requested. The person's identification is printed in bar code, so it can be scanned to track the file being released.
• The receipt can also be used as a routing slip.

TIME SAVERS

• Request a file online. Users on the network can request a file from within the MasterTrak™ program and have the request slip automatically print in the file room.
• A networked PC in a common area allows non-networked users to request files online instead of manually completing request slips, saving time for both the file room personnel and the user.
• Batch print all pending requests simply by pressing a single button on the MasterTrak screen.
• Sort requests in multiple ways to match the user's method of filing, such as printing in terminal digit order or alphabetically.
• Multiple request destinations may be most efficient for large, sectioned and multiple file rooms.
• Automatically direct file requests based on record locations and types: Radiology or Patient Chart, Collateral or Credit File, etc. Numerous designations can be included in the program's sort criteria.
